2.2.10  Foreign Elements in the Hall of Art

The next piece is made on a white background which i created with naturals tools like stones, flowers and feathers. The blue drops of water are moved around using air blown through a straw on the top half of the piece. At the bottom left hand side there is almost what looks like a fire, yellow in color with dashes of red created with feathers, there is also one on the top right hand side. Next to that on the bottom left hand side is the negative shape of the fire if you turn it upright, it is made cutting the white canvas and placing turquoise tracing paper underneath. In the middle of the picture used the same method but with purple tracing paper in the shape of chalk stone. On the bottom right hand side is a dark blue shape created with tracing paper using the same cut out method which I think looks like a dolphin when held up right. Next to that are some green prints which I made with a chalk stone. This piece really reminds some people of the work of Matisse, it is colorful and bright and gives people a lift.
Pic 2.42: "Foreign Elements in the Hall of Art"

This art work shows the power of light combined with color. The use of wind that moves a drop, the power of fire that gives you warmth but can be dangerous if not used in the right way. It is the ultimate creation of shade and light and shows you how powerful natural elements can be. Taking from can be as important as adding to. There is magic in every movement and everything, sometimes without notice. Color is the essence of emotions and the start of a wonderful symphony.

The Picture Measures - 59cm by 42cm.
